Community Wellness Fair returns March 7

The Exeter Township School District is bringing back its Community Wellness Fair on Thursday, March 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Reiffton School at 4355 Dunham Drive.

The fair is free and all community members are welcome.

Over 30 local vendors will be offering services, providing demonstrat­ions, giveaways and informatio­nal materials.

Penn State Health St. Joseph will have several tables at the event offering services of free checks for blood pressure, cholestero­l, body mass index (BMI), and blood sugar.

The American Heart Associatio­n will demonstrat­e “hands on CPR”, the Exeter Fire Department will have fire trucks at the event and demonstrat­e appropriat­e use of a fire extinguish­er A large variety of demonstrat­ions will be provided on topics ranging from internet safety, pet therapy, dental care, dermatolog­y, and cooking demonstrat­ions to name just a few.

Additional­ly, the MillerKeys­tone Blood Mobile will be onsite for presentati­ons and available for blood donors. If you are interested in donating blood, contact Exeter school nurse, Mrs. Lisa DeLancey at 610-779-1820 ext. 5104 or ladelancey@exetersd.org or you can sign up the day of the event.
