BERKS I WILSON

Coach: Kim Underwood, 10th season, 142-56-2. PIAA class: 3A. Last year: 9-1 Berks I, 22-4; District 3 Class 3A third place, PIAA Class 3A semifinalist. Key players: All-Berks Bryn Underwood, All-Berks Reagan Underwood, All-Berks Morgan Kaufmann, all-division Madi Herb, all-division Emily Horace, alldivision Kailie Connor, Katelyn Bailey, Sarah Gatehouse, Kylie Hoffman. Outlook: With the return of seven senior starters, the Bulldogs should contend for Berks, District 3 and PIAA titles.

TWIN VALLEY

Coach: Kim Walsh, fifth season, 79-29. PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 6-4 Berks I, 15-11; District 3 Class 2A third place, PIAA Class 2A semifinalist. Key players: All-division Natali Foster, all-division Emma Winther, all-division Talayna Viscuso, Carly Servis, Mikayla Carahaly. Outlook: Young team returns eight starters and should get better as the season goes on.

GOV. MIFFLIN

Coach: Shayna Johnston, fourth season, 22-34-1. PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 4-6 Berks I, 11-8. Key players: All-division Samantha Karmonick, Hannah Stanislawczyk, Karlyn Austin, Jocelyn King, Makenna Fick. Outlook: The Mustangs return some talented players and have a growing team that could challenge for a playoff berth.

EXETER

Coach: Lisa McCoy, seventh season, 64-47-1. PIAA class: 3A. Last year: 9-1 Berks I, 20-3; Berks runner-up, District 3 Class 3A qualifier. Key players: All-division Ella Maillie, alldivision Aaliyah Linfoot. Outlook: The Eagles have a young team and a couple talented leaders who could help the team improve throughout the season.

MUHLENBERG

Coach: Lauren Yoder, seventh season, 49-57-5. PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 2-8 Berks I, 2-16. Key players: Cameron Gring, Nyah Justiniano, Olivia Gehris, Alexis Bonte, Sara Miller. Outlook: The Muhls are still young but looking to improve on last year.

READING HIGH

Coach: Kelly Rupp-George, eighth season, 13-107-1. PIAA class: 3A. Last year: 0-10 Berks I, 2-16. Key players: All-division Kristen Batista, Breanna Flores, Jeyda Bermudez, Keyla Batista. Outlook: The Red Knights are looking to be more competitive and improve on last season.

BERKS II BERKS CATHOLIC

Coach: Vicki Schutt, ninth season, 10359-3 (126-99-12, including four seasons at Exeter). PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 10-0 Berks II, 17-7; District 3 Class 2A sixth place, PIAA Class 2A qualifier. Key players: All-division Julia Bressler, all-division Sydney Grim, Lily Derr, Mackenzie Partsch, Olivia Chiarelli, Aby Franey, Aubreigh Uba. Outlook: The Saints return a strong core and remain the team to beat in the division.

CONRAD WEISER

Coach: Ann Schmidt, 22nd season, 227170-18. PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 5-4-1 Berks II, 9-7-1; District 3 Class 2A qualifier. Key players: All-Berks Brea Borrell, Elise Cole, Morgan Kopcik, Elena Tulli, Kara Frantz. Outlook: The Scouts return a strong nucleus from a team that qualified for the District 3 playoffs last season.

SCHUYLKILL VALLEY

Coach: Jess Dowd, sixth season, 58-31-3. PIAA class: 1A. Last year: 5-5 Berks II, 9-6-1. Key players: All-division Abby Rea, alldivision Ashley Birmingham, all-division Marlee Rickert, Anna Gwiazdowski, Kaydence Muller, Rayven Muller, Gabby Rider. Outlook: With only two players lost to graduation, the Panthers have experience and a large group of freshmen who could help make a playoff push.

FLEETWOOD

Coach: Joyce Angstadt, 27th season, 239-253-31. PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 5-3-2 Berks II, 9-7-2. Key players: All-division Casey Lynn DeWald, all-division Stephanie Hegedus, all-division Lauren Breisch, Paige Garrett, Maddie Speece, Natalie Slusser. Outlook: With a few talented players returning, the Tigers will try to improve each game and challenge for a playoff berth.

HAMBURG

Coach: Kandice Pyles, second season, 7-11. PIAA class: 1A. Last year: 1-9 Berks II, 7-11. Key players: Veronica Heckman, Caitlin Steele, Lexi Gerner, Kyle Christman, Delani Remp. Outlook: The Hawks have some experienced players and are a growing program with 12 freshmen.

DANIEL BOONE

Coach: Autumn Gilmore, first season. PIAA class: 2A. Last year: 2-7-1 Berks II, 6-9-1. Key players: All-division Haley Engle, Adison Leahy, Mackenzie Ring, Ashley Finkbiner, Devyn Brennan, Clara Lacek, Aburey Newman, Taylor Yerger.. Outlook: The Blazers have a few talented players to help rebuild under a new coach.

BERKS III OLEY VALLEY

Coach: Tiffany Cappellano, 10th season, 182-39-5. PIAA class: 1A. Last year: 8-0 Berks III, 25-3; Berks champion, District 3 Class 1A runner-up, PIAA Class 1A semifinalist. Key players: All-Berks Sophia Gladieux, All-Berks Sarah Beers, all-divison Sophia Mackrealla, all-division Paige Graber, all-division Jordan Wilkinson. Outlook: Strong senior class will have the Lynx in the running again for Berks, district and state titles.

TULPEHOCKEN

Coach: Amber Boyer, fifth season, 51-34. PIAA class: 1A. Last year: 4-4 Berks III, 7-11. Key players: All-division Rachel Howe, all-division Natasha Rohrbach, Kaila Wojciechowsky, Arianna Wertz, Rachel Cox, Sarah Fidler. Outlook: With some talented returners and some good freshmen, the Trojans should make a push to return to the Berks and district playoffs.

WYOMISSING

Coach: Kelly Ferrandino, ninth season, 49-84-4. PIAA class: 1A. Last year: 6-2 Berks III, 11-7-1. Key players: All-division Sarah Mitchell, Evelyn Hoyer, Nyah Damiano. Outlook: The Spartans lost nine seniors and are in a rebuilding mode.

BRANDYWINE HEIGHTS

Coach: Janelle Moser, second season, 3-13. PIAA class: 1A. Last year: 2-6 Berks III, 3-13. Key players: No information received.

KUTZTOWN
