Key returnees: All-Berks MF Jailene DeJesus, all-division F Emily Magalotti, all-division F Natalee Vicari, all-division D Kayla Pennington, D Katie Fry, F Alison Berkel, MF Serai Fessenden, MF Brianna Depro. Outlook: Favorites to win division and county titles and make district playoff noise again. Have plenty of challengers.

EXETER

Coach: Charlie Messner, second season, 14-6. PIAA Class: 4A. Last year: 7-3 Berks I, 14-6; District 3 Class 4A quarterfinalist. Key returnees: All-division MF Taylor Mentzer, all-division MF Ella Messner, all-division F Marina Messner, all-division D Abigail Barzd, MF Michelle Mesquita, D Olivia Haines, F Alyssa Loscig, F Avery Foster. Outlook: Look to continue rise to the top of division and make run in county and district playoffs.

GOV. MIFFLIN

Coach: Ed Deren Jr., 27th season, 317-16826. PIAA Class: 4A. Last year: 6-3-1 Berks I, 12-7-2; District 3 Class 4A first round. Key returnees: All-Berks F Kierstin Spatz, All-Berks D Stella Mollica, all-division D Reagan Simock, GK Katelyn Dreibelbis, MF Emily Burns, D Olivia Conover, MF Zoe Perella, F/MF Adriana Lepera, MF Olivia Schwartz. Outlook: Lost All-Berks MF Gillian Maack, but return two others in Spatz and Mollica. Should be in play for division crown with Exeter and Wilson.

TWIN VALLEY

Coach: Tabitha Waldron, first season. PIAA Class: 3A. Last year: 4-5-1 Berks I, 6-9-2. Key returnees: All-division GK Isabella McCooey, MF/D Kailee Shreiner, MF/F Haleigh Davis, MF Olivia Matherson, D Rachel McNamee, MF Anabella Acinapura, MF/F Olivia Klein. Outlook: Should improve from last season with new coach and two of three top scorers plus all-division keeper returning.

MUHLENBERG

Coach: Dave Leinbach, fifth season, 21-31. PIAA Class: 4A. Last year: 2-8 Berks I, 2-14. Key returnees: F Priscilla Cruz, MF Emely Pichardo, MF Allie Painter, MF Solmari Peguero. Outlook: Very young team continuing to grow.

READING HIGH

Coach: Kevin Kalbach, sixth season 9-71-3. PIAA Class: 4A. Last year: 0-10 Berks I, 2-16. Key returnees: D Nayely Sanchez, MF Ashley Olivares, MF Araceli Gonzalez-Saenz, MF Alfa Orihuela. Outlook: Looking to improve with strong group of upperclassmen.

BERKS II FLEETWOOD

Coach: Mike Boyer, 23rd season, 361-114-24 PIAA Class: 3A. Last year: 5-4-1 Berks II, 14-7-1; District 3 Class 3A quarterfinalist. Key returnees: All-Berks MF Emma Crissman, all-division F Faith Herndon, all-division MF Alexis Baez, all-division D Madison Stump, MF Adalia Hercules, MF/F Leilah Sallee, MF Elyse Adamo, GK Makayla Calamita, D Madison Herb. Outlook: Lost All-Berks MF Rebekah Earnest, but return enough to challenge for county title again.

BERKS CATHOLIC

Coach: Mark Pfeiffenberger, third season, 26-12-2. PIAA Class: 3A. Last year: 8-1-1 Berks II, 15-5-2; District 3 Class 3A fourth place. Key returnees: All-Berks Gabriella Kurtas, all-division F Zariya Holt, all-division GK Antonia Pichardo, MF Alyssa Fontana, F Gabriella Fontana, D Paige Reali. Outlook: Have reloaded after graduating four all-division players and will challenge for division and county titles.

CONRAD WEISER

Coach: Doug Miller, 26th season, 314-15831. PIAA Class: 3A. Last year: 8-1-1 Berks II, 13-4-3; District 3 Class 3A quarterfinalist. Key returnees: All-Berks F Grace George, all-division D Natalie McFadden, MF Jenna Price, D Gia Glembocki, MF Natalia Moll, GK Caitlin Williams, F Journee Haynes, D Olivia Malone. Outlook: Return of George and McFadden and an influx of speed from younger players should give the Scouts a chance to be as good or better than last season.

SCHUYLKILL VALLEY

Coach: Jason Bagenstose, 15th season, 136-121-12. PIAA Class: 2A. Last year: 4-5-1 Berks II, 9-7-3; District 3 Class 2A quarterfinalist. Key returnees: All-division MF Madison Stichter, all-division F Abbey White, MF Sadie Goad, D Zoe Gannon, F Emily Starr, D Hannah Phillips, D Lily Isenberg. Outlook: Plenty of returning firepower with two all-division players and Goad fully healthy after a torn ACL. Will need newcomers to step up to compete in tough division.

DANIEL BOONE

Coach: Mark Reightneour, first season. PIAA Class: 3A Last year: 3-7 Berks II, 6-11. Key returnees: F Ariana Trautz, F Nylah Cody, MF Nicole Brown, MF Lily Ferguson, D Hailey Kaba, D Emma Kay, D Lizzy Tranni. Outlook: Young team aiming to climb division.

HAMBURG

Coach: Michael O’Neil, fourth season, 8-41-2. PIAA Class: 2A. Last year: 0-10 Berks II, 0-14-1. Key returnees: MF Shawna Hauck, F Jasmin Piltz, MF Emma Greenawald, MF Lauren Sterner, D Emily Martin, D Calyee Lugo, D Jade Heckman. Outlook: Improve on last season and be competitive.

BERKS III TULPEHOCKEN

Coach: Paul Zerbe, 19th season, 239-125-15. PIAA Class: 2A. Last year: 3-3-2 Berks III, 7-9-2. Key returnees: All-division F Jocelynn Phillips, F Ava Ahner, F Megan Eberly, D Jessie Torres, D Natalie Grumbine, GK Natalie Jonas. Outlook: Should be in running for division title and playoff run with 10 of 11 starters returning and a good mix of seniors and underclassmen.

WYOMISSING

Coach: Rachel Hoffman, sixth season, 49-40-6. PIAA Class: 2A. Last year: 6-1-1 Berks III, 10-6-3; District 3 Class 2A first round. Key returnees: All-division MF Becca Kotula, all-division F Hannah Hurleman, MF Cadi Hoke, MF Molly Kuhn, MF Jenna Abousaab, D/MF Maya Abousaab. Outlook: Upperclassman experience and underclassman talent will keep the Spartans atop the division.

OLEY VALLEY

Coach: Andrew Haas, sixth season, 30-53-4. PIAA Class: 2A. Last year: 2-6 Berks III, 5-12. Key returnees: All-division MF Madison Reinert, MF Rian Daniels, MF Elaine Mortimer, MF Meredith Groves, MF Dani Trimbur, MF Lauren Davis. Outlook: Return seven starters including all-division F Madison Reinert, but also lost three all-division players to graduation. Aim to move up in division.

BRANDYWINE HEIGHTS

Coach: Sarah Soffa, first season. PIAA Class: 1A. Last year: 4-4 Berks III, 8-10-2; District 3 Class 1A quarterfinalist. Key returnees: F Emily Savitz, MF Skylar Strunk, MF Dejha Melcher, D Easton Ferry. Outlook: Hoping to remain competitive after three all-division players graduated.
