Douglassville man killed in crash

A Douglassville man was killed early Saturday, June 27, when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed about 2:30 a.m. on Centre Road in Union Township.

According to state police: Kevin M. Tolland, 48, was northbound when he lost control of his car. The vehicle crossed lanes and rolled several times after leaving the road.

Tolland was pronounced dead on the scene by a representative of the Berks County coroner’s office.

The Birdsboro Fire Department assisted on the scene of the accident.
