Nov. 14: The Rev. Christian McMullan will conduct the 8:00a.m. Holy Communion and 10:15a.m. worship services in the church. All are welcome. All church service attendees required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of at least 6feet. We will not be singing as we are accustomed to. Please do not attend services if you feel sick. Weekly services are also offered online via the St. Luke’s Obelisk YouTube Channel. It is our hope and prayer that everyone stays safe and well during these difficult times.

Nov. 14: worship on this 26th Sunday after Pentecost with a worship service at 9a.m. Pastor Matthew Finney will be leading the congregati­on in the worship service and preaching the sermon. Immediatel­y following the service the Fall Congregati­onal Meeting will be held in the sanctuary to approve the 2022Budget and elect members for the 2022Counci­l. Our assistant for the 9a.m. service will be Diane Houck and our Greeter/ Usher is Jim and Kay Barr. Altar Guild this morning will be Diane and Bruce Houck and Counting Team is “A”. Prior to the worship service, Coffee & Conversati­on will be held at 8:30in the Welcome Center and then after worship there will be Coffee & Conversati­on as well. The Adult Sunday School Bible Class will be held in the parlor after the Congregati­onal Meeting. The Confirmati­on class will meet in social hall after the Congregati­onal Meeting. As per the CDC guidelines for indoor gatherings and as discussed at last month’s Council meeting, it is recommende­d that parishione­rs wear a mask when entering the church, during worship and upon leaving.

Nov. 17: Handbell Choir will rehearse at 6:30p.m. followed by the

Senior Choir at 7:30p.m.

Nov. 19: Pastor Matt’s office hours will be from 10a.m. to 1p.m.

PJ Project: In conjunctio­n with the Boyertown Area Multi-Service, they would like to create “Elf Bags” for needy families for Christmas Eve and are looking for our help to fill these bags. The items needed besides new Children’s Larger size pajamas (10⁄12 & 14⁄16), Adult Size pajamas for older children (Small-XL), Family games for older children (Card Games, Sorry, Monopoly, etc.), Monetary donation to purchase items needed, hot chocolate packets and microwave popcorn packet. Please bring your donation to the box in the Narthex.

Community Thanksgivi­ng Eve Service: Nov. 24at 7p.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally. Joint choirs from each congregati­on will sing. A Free Will Offering will be taken for the Boyertown Area MultiServi­ce

Fuel Fund. Donations of canned goods will be accepted for the Boyertown Area Multi-Service Food Pantry. Refreshmen­ts will be served following the service. Please come on out and give thanks with our brothers and sisters in Christ from other congregati­ons.

Scout Troop 511 Hoagies: The sales will be the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Orders will have to be placed on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The price has increased to $5.50each. There is ham, turkey, Italian or cheese with lettuce, onion, tomato, sides hot peppers or sweet peppers, Italian or mayo packets. To volunteer and to order as a new person, call Kitty Isett at 610-473-0217. Pick up will be at the old store every month.

WAWA Hoagie Coupons: Available 1st Sunday of the month at the Scrip Table. Coupons are also available in the church office Monday through Thursday, 9a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $4. This project benefits the Social Ministry.

PJ Project: collecting gently used or new pajamas or sweatpants for children and adults. All sizes male/ female appreciate­d. Bring donation to the box in the Narthex.

In Ian’s Boots: is accepting used sporting equipment such as used cleats, balls, pads, guards, gently used shoes and boots to distribute to needy children and youth developmen­t programs both here and around the world.

Puzzles: an assortment of puzzles are on the coat rack in the Parish Hall and in the cabinet labeled “Puzzles” for you to borrow.
