Jan. 16: 9:30 a.m. worship service on Second Sunday after Epiphany at Calvary UCC. Message “The First Sign.” The consistory teams recommend the wearing of masks by everyone. If you have not received the vaccinatio­n for COVID-19 we strongly recommend wearing a mask.

Jan. 22: Calvary UCC will hold a 25Cent Clothing and More Sale, plus we will open the doors to the Lower Level Indoor Flea Market. Doors to the building open at 8 a.m. and close at 11 a.m.

Jan. 23: 9:30 a.m. worship service on Third Sunday after Epiphany at Pennsburg UCC. Message “Parts.”

Jan. 30: 9:30 a.m. worship service on Fourth Sunday after Epiphany at Calvary UCC. Message “What’s Love All About?”

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road, Obelisk Jan. 16: Pastor Christian McMullan will conduct 8 a.m. Holy Communion in the church and the 10:15 a.m. Praise service in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. We require all church service attendees to wear a mask and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet. We will sing the hymns with masks on. Please do not attend services if you feel sick. Weekly services are also offered online via the St. Luke’s Obelisk YouTube Channel. It is our hope and prayer that everyone stays safe and well during these difficult times.

St. John’s Evangelica­l Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown Sundays: open for inperson worship at 9:30 a.m. Livestream­ed worship continues on YouTube (St. John’s ELC Boyertown). Children’s Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. — register on our website. Masks required at all indoor events and worship.

Jan. 16: worship on this the Second Sunday after Epiphany with a worship service at 9 a.m. Pastor Matthew Finney will be leading the congregati­on in the worship service and preach the sermon. Our assistant for the 9a.m. service will be Denise Hoffman and our Greeter/Ushers are Shirley and Merle Deery. Altar Guild this morning will be Jamie Johns and Counting Team is “C”. Prior to the worship service, Coffee & Conversati­on will be held at 8:30 in the Welcome Center and then again following worship. The Confirmati­on class will meet in social hall for class at 10a.m. The Adult Bible Study Class will be held at 10 a.m. in the parlor.

Jan. 17: The church office will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Jan. 18: Endowment Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Welcome Center.

Jan. 19: Handbell Choir will rehearse at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Senior Choir at 7:30 p.m.

Jan. 21: Pastor Matt will have office hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WAWA Hoagie Coupons:

Available 1st Sunday of the month at the Scrip Table or see Dan Ritter or Kathy Kuser. Coupons are also available in the church office Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $4. This project benefits the Social Ministry.

Scout Troop 511 Hoagies: sales will be the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Place orders on the 2nd Tuesday. The price has increased to $5.50 each. There is ham, turkey, Italian or cheese with lettuce, onion, tomato, sides hot peppers or sweet peppers, Italian or mayo packets. To volunteer and to order as a new person, see Kitty Isett. Pick up will be at the old store every month.

PJ Project: donate gently used or new pajamas or sweatpants for children and adults, all sizes male and female. Place donation to the box in the Narthex. Any questions, see Kathy Kuser.

In Ian’s Boots: donate used sporting equipment to go to needy children and youth developmen­t programs both here and around the world.

Puzzles: borrow an assortment of puzzles in the cabinet labeled “Puzzles” in the Parish Hall.
