CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 222 NIANTIC ROAD, BARTO May 8: worship on this Fourth Sunday of Easter with a worship service at 9a.m. Rev. Matthew Finney will lead worship and present the sermon. This is also Church Music Sunday and we will recognize all members of our choirs. The Handbell choir and the Senior will be playing and/or singing during the service. Special music by a Brass Quintet will be a part of the service as well. At the 9 a.m. service worship helpers will be open — acolyte; open — lector; open — Assisting Minister and our Greeter/Usher are open. Altar Guild this morning will be Kay and Jim Barr and Counting Team is “D”. Prior to the worship service, Coffee & Conversati­on will be held at 8:30 in the Welcome Center and then again after worship at 10:15a.m. Adult Sunday School will be held in the parlor following the worship service at 10:15a.m. The Confirmati­on class will meet in room E for class at 10:15 a.m.

May 10: At 9:30a.m., Quilt Tying will be held in the social hall. At 11:30a.m. the ladies will meet in the parking lot to carpool to Spunktown Tavern for their monthly luncheon at noon. The Finance committee will meet at 7:30p.m. in the Welcome Center.

May 11: Handbell Choir will rehearse at 6:30p.m. Senior Choir will rehearse at 7:30p.m.

May 13: Pastor Matt’s office hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

May 15: Oley Lutheran Cluster Worship Service at 10:30a.m. at Frieden’s Lutheran Church, Oley. Since we are encouragin­g folks to attend this service at Friedens, worship schedule at Trinity for May 15 will be 8 a.m. regular worship service (no Contempora­ry Service), 10:30a.m. worship will be at Friedens (no service here at Trinity).

Summer Worship Schedule: starting June 5, Worship Service held at 9a.m. There will be no Contempora­ry Worship Service or Sunday School June, July and August.

June 5: Graduate Recognitio­n Sunday. Call the church office and let us know of any members, friends, or loved ones who are graduating from high school, college, graduate school, basic training or any other academic or career training program.

Social Ministry of Trinity Sundaes for Childhood Cancer: $5each. They aren’t edible, but wearable and have a surprise inside. Available every Sunday in May or until sold out. Also available will be yellow cancer ribbons to pin on clothing for $2.

Thrivent T-Shirts: all different sizes and designs available on table in the Parish Hall.

Scout Troop 511 Hoagies: sales will be the 3rd Tuesday. Place orders on the 2nd Tuesday. $5.50 each for ham, turkey, Italian or cheese with lettuce, onion, tomato, sides hot peppers or sweet peppers, Italian or mayo packets. To volunteer and to order as a new person, see Kitty Isett. Pick up will be at the old store every month.

WAWA Hoagie Coupons: Available 1st Sunday of the month at the Scrip Table and in the church office Monday to Thursday, 9a.m. to 2p.m. Tickets $4. This project benefits the Social Ministry.

PJ Project: donate gently used or new pajamas or sweatpants for children and adults, all sizes male and female. Place donation in the box in the Narthex.

In Ian’s Boots: donate used sporting equipment for needy children and youth developmen­t programs both here and around the world.
