Lecture and book signing: 7 p.m. hosted by General Carl Spaatz National USAAF Museum in Boyertown. Lecture by author and historian Jared Frederick in Reception Hall of Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Company, Warwick Street, Boyertown, on his new book “Fierce Valor: The True Story of Ronald Speirs and His Band of Brothers,” followed by a book sale and signing in the Spaatz Museum next door. Admission $10.50 for lecture and selfguided tour of museum.

The Human Library: 2 to 4 p.m. at Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A East Philadelph­ia Ave., Boyertown. Participan­ts will share their life journey involving addiction and recovery, depression, cults, intuitive healing, adoption, challenges as a person of color, ADHD and Autism during the 2-hour event modeled after an initiative in Denmark that now exists in 50 countries. Participan­ts will be paired with a member of the community for a set amount of time to share their life stories and then move on to share with another person. Community members invited to this free event and will be able to listen to each participan­t. A second Human Library event is planned for fall featuring individual­s who will be represente­d to celebrate diversity on the updated Boyertown’s “No Place for Hate” mural that was vandalized in October 2021.

Fit and Fabulous Wednesdays: 9 a.m. at Birdsboro Community Memorial Center. Exercise class for seniors to improve balance, strength, flexibilit­y and overall mobility while moving to music. Taught by a licensed physical therapist. Chairs provided. Customized to fit ability. Free for members.
