Award-winning St. Mary Catholic School has much to offer
St. Mary Catholic School is a National Blue Ribbon, Archdiocese of Philadelphia School of Distinguished Instruction in historic Schwenksville. The parish school sits on 23 acres on a quiet road in Montgomery County.
Parishioners, families and students are at home at St. Mary, which is apparent the minute you enter the campus.
St. Mary Catholic School received several honors during the 2021-2022 school year. First, the school was bestowed the Nation Blue Ribbon by the U.S. Department of Education. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia then acknowledged it for its Distinguished Instruction.
Most recently, the school was re-accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools for meeting the high-quality standards in their mission, goals, ethics, student learning experience, educational support and effectiveness.
St. Mary Catholic School (K8) and Agnus Dei Academy (3and 4-year-old program) take great pride in their Education Center. Additionally, the Education Center is home to the parish PREP (Parish Religious Education Program) and vacation Bible camp programs during the summer months.
The building is outfitted with modern standards, including state-of-the-art Promeathen AP9 boards in every classroom. Students and teachers enjoy the latest technology as well as traditional chalkboards and whiteboards to create an effective learning environment for various learning styles.
St. Mary Catholic School remains focused on providing excellence in a Catholic education and delivering results. A good measure of a school’s academic success is the annual Connelly Foundation Neumann Scholarship Award.
The Neumann Scholarship Award is a very competitive and distinguished honor that is respected and recognized by prestigious colleges and universities locally and nationally. The award provides winners a four-year scholarship to attend any Philadelphia Archdiocesan high school of their choosing.
The Connelly Foundation announced 50 scholarship winners for the 2023-2024 school year. Since 2012, St. Mary Catholic School students have been awarded $429,000 in scholarships and counting. Congratulations to our Neumann Scholarship winner, Anna!
