Feb. 19: The Transfiguration of our Lord will be celebrated at our 9:30 a.m. service. Interim pastor, Susie Folks, will lead us in worship, and Michael Romasco will serve as lector. Communion will be celebrated. The handbell choir, directed by Valerie Schlegel, will ring “Climbing the Mountain.” The gospel lesson for the day is Matthew 17:1-9, where the revelation of Christ as God’s beloved Son is shared.

Feb. 19: 9a.m. with a service of Holy Communion being led by Rev. Matthew Finney, who will also be presenting the sermon for the morning on this Transfiguration of Our Lord Sunday. Coffee & Conversation will be held at 8:30 and 10 a.m. on this morning in the Welcome Center. The Adult Sunday School class will be held at 10a.m. in the parlor. Confirmation Class will meet in room I after worship. Assistants for the morning worship are Acolyte — open; Lector — Denise Hoffman; Assisting Minister — Denise Hoffman; Communion Assist — open and Greeters/Ushers — Ginnie Wilkinson and Gerry Flicker. Feb. 22: The joint Ash Wednesday service with members from St. Paul’s Lutheran, Sassamansville will be held at Christ Lutheran at 7p.m. This will be a service of Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes.

Soup Supper: 6 p.m. each Wednesday during Lent prior to the 7p.m. Worship Service beginning March 1. First Communion Classes: will begin March 1 at 6:15 p.m. and will continue each Wednesday evening during Lent. Any young person 10years of age or older who has not yet received their first communion is eligible to participate in these classes. See Pastor Zaiser if interested.

Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club Once Upon a Prom: on March 4, 5, 11 and 12 from 12 to 4 p.m., any junior or senior high school girl in need of a special occasion dress is welcome to come browse a collection of more than 600dresses, in all sizes, plus accessories. Held at the Boyertown YMCA now located at 301W. Spring Street. All girls are invited to take a dress or two home for a small donation which benefits local community.

WAWA Hoagie Coupons: Available 1st Sunday of the month at the Scrip Table and in the church office Monday to Thursday, 9a.m. to 2p.m. Tickets are $4. This project benefits the Social Ministry.

Scout Troop 511 Hoagies: sales will be the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Place orders on the 2nd Tuesday. The price is $6each for ham, turkey, Italian or cheese with lettuce, onion, tomato, sides hot peppers or sweet peppers, Italian or mayo packets. To order as a new person, see Kitty Isett. Pick up will be at the old store every month. T

In Ian’s Boots: donate used sporting equipment (used cleats, balls, pads, guards, gently used shoes and boots) to distribute it to needy children and youth development programs both here and around the world.
