Boyertown Area Progress Dinner features new faces within non-profits

The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Boyertown Area Progress Dinner on Thursday, March 2.

This year’s event will feature new faces within four Boyertown area non-profit organizati­ons, presentati­on of the James K. Boyer Quality of Life Award and recognize Boyertown Area Senior High alumni that stayed within area businesses.

Held at LaMassaria at Bella Vista Golf Course in New Hanover from 5 to 8:30 p.m., the event opens with a networking and social hour followed by dinner while the students of BASH flute choir perform. The evening’s agenda will continue with a video, produced by BASH students, featuring Denise Pulgino Stout from the Boyertown Community Library; Ellen Martignett­i from Building a Better Boyertown, Jocelyn Charles from Boyertown Area MultiServi­ce, Inc., and Amy Muzopappa from the Foundation for Boyertown Education.

TriCounty Area Chamber will present this year’s James K. Boyer Quality of Life Award to Berks County Commission­er Chair Christian Leinbach for his continued

contributi­ons to the community and the leadership and quality of life impact efforts he has produced for the Boyertown area.

The event is sponsored by platinum sponsors Community Health & Dental Care and Tompkins; gold sponsors The Body-Borneman Companies and Diamond Credit Union; and silver sponsors Bally Block Co., Fleetwood Bank, Global Advanced Metals, and Herb Real Estate Inc.

The cost per TriCounty Area Chamber member is $100; $900 per member table of 10; $200 per nonmember; $2,000 per nonmember table of 10. Registrati­on
