ST. GEORGE - Peter Tullio Pallotta, 94, formerly of Palisades Park, New Jersey passed away quietly into the arms of our Lord from natural causes at home on Friday March 15, 2024, surrounded by family and close friends. Born in 1929, Peter was the son of Ellis Island Italian immigrants – Paolo “Frank” Pallotta and Filomena Albanese Pallotta. He had three sisters, Valeria, Maria and Anna - all pre-deceased.

Peter served in the United States Army and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administra­tion from St. Peter’s College, Jersey City. While serving at Fort Riley Kansas, Lieutenant Pallotta met army nurse Dolores Myhre Pallotta, his wife of 61 years who predecease­d him in 2015. He was a successful businessma­n and entreprene­ur in New York City moving to Utah in his retirement.

Peter is survived by one niece, three nephews, five great nieces and nephews and seven greatgrand nieces and nephews.

In his later years, his love of food was only overshadow­ed by the amazing love and support he received from his St. George friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. George Catholic Church located at 259 West 200 North. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd.
