Mr. William Robert Rowell Sr. “W.R.”, age 95 of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016.

He was born on Feb. 20, 1921 in Buchannan, the son of the late Jessie Melvin Rowell and Nancey Tanner Rowell.

Mr. Rowell is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Rowell; parents; sisters, Mozelle Cammons and Annie Mae Butler; brother, Winfred B. Rowell; and son-in-law, Al Hunt.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Hunt; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Patti Rowell; sister, Margie Heard; grandchild­ren, LaDalle Macgregor (Jeff), Brendan Hunt (Mary), Amber Jackson (Chad), and Abbye Floyd; great-grandchild­ren, Auburn Hunt, Jack Hunt, Olivia Macgregor, Camden Jackson and Kaelin Jackson.

The funeral arrangemen­ts for Mr. William Robert Rowell, Sr. were conducted on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Grady McDonald and Mr. Kenneth Rowell officiatin­g.

Interment followed in the Northview Cemetery with Dr. Steve Fetkenhour officiatin­g. Full Military Rites will be conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post #86.

The family of Mr. Rowell received family and friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 prior to the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen served as pallbearer­s: Jim McWilliams, Jeff Collier, Jake Collier, Chad Jackson, Brendan Hunt, and Jeff Macgregor.

Funeral services for Mrs. Debra Jo Ledbetter Weaver were conducted on Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. Timmy Jones and the Rev. Ricky Floyd officiatin­g.

Interment followed in the family lot of the Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, June 8, 2016 at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home.

The following were asked to serve as Pallbearer­s: Tyler McCulley, Alan McCulley, Shane McCord, Alec Ledbetter, Jason Spann, Zach Porterfiel­d and Henry Ridley.

Honorary Pallbearer­s included Payton McCord, Tammie Roberts and her nieces and nephews.

Litesey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangemen­ts for Mrs. Debra Jo Ledbetter Weaver. and was a retired employee of Floyd Medical Center where she was employed as a secretary in Respirator­y Therapy for 18 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Harris in July 1964.

Survivors include two daughters: Hariet Harris, Redwood City, California and Debra Harris Usry and her husband Carl of Rockmart; one great granddaugh­ter, Mikahla Harris, San Francisco, California.

Memorial services were held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jeanette M. Dickens officiatin­g.

A private interment was held in Rose Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 135 Church St., Rockmart, Ga., 30153.

The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemen­ts for the memorial service of Mrs. Margaret Lee Harris.
