Jody Allan Strickland, 36, Buchanan, was taken into custody on July 29 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of Family Violence Act (FVA) simple battery and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

David Anthony Darden, 58, Rockmart, was arrested on July 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of child molestation, aggravated child molestation, felony sexual battery against child under 16, first degree cruelty to children - deprivation of sustenance, and parole violation.

Sylvia Renee Arthur, 46, Cedartown, was jailed on July 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of criminal trespass.

Jack Alan Garner, 41, Silver Creek, was taken into custody on July 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of FVA battery.

Kendrick Shaun Hulsey, 31, Rockmart, was arrested on July 30 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.

Anthony Franklin Jones, 55, Cedartown, was taken into custody on July 30 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, striking a fixed object, and DUI - driving under the influence of alcohol - concentration is 0.08G or more within three hours or more.

Jorian Javan McClure,17, Rockmart, was jailed on July 30 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of criminal trespass, FVA simple assault, and misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement officers.

Heather Ruth Swift, 30, Rockmart, was arrested on July 30 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of FVA battery.

Arturo Matias Mendoza, 21, Carrollton, was taken into custody on July 31 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of DUI - less safe - alcohol, misdemeanor driving without a valid license, failure to report accident with injury/ death/damage, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, following too closely, and hit and run; duty of driver to stop at or return to scene of accident.

Chelsey Yearwood, 23, Rockmart, was arrested on July 31 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of FVA simple battery.

Kevin Dean Jackson, 42, Aragon, was jailed on July 31 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement officers and disorderly conduct.

Destiny Leigh Kelley, 17, Aragon, was arrested on July 31 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of misdemeanor driving without a valid license, no insurance, and defective equipment.

Michelle D. Roy, 43, Rockmart, was taken into custody on July 31 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of FVA simple battery.

Daramis Deunte Stevenson, 27, Rome, was arrested on July 31 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of conspiracy to possess methamphetamine, and use of a communication facility in committing or facilitating a felony act.

Lavonia Michelle Stiles, 37, Cedartown, was arrested on August 1 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of methamphetamine, and FVA simple battery.

Kristen Gabrielle McMordie, 26, Silver Creek, was jailed on August 1 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeanor driving while license suspended or revoked.

Austin Wade Jones, 17, Cedartown, was arrested on August 2 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of felony second degree burglary, second degree criminal damage to property, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Timothy Brian Pope, 27, Cedartown, was jailed on August 2 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor bench warrant.

Shakeevia Michelle Roberts, 28, Cedartown, was taken into custody on August 2 by the Aragon Police Department on charges of misdemeanor driving while license suspended or revoked, tag/registration requirements, and no insurance.

Eric Jason Smith, 34, Cedartown, was arrested on August 2 by the Drug Task Force on charges of purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, possession of firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, felony purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or first offender.

Magen Amber Smith, 28, Cedartown, was taken into custody on August 2 by the Drug Task Force on two charges of purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Patricia Irlanda Aceituno, 51, Rome, was arrested on August 3 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of felony identity theft fraud when using/ possessing identifying information concerning a person.

Robert Taylor Formby, 23, Aragon, was jailed on August 3 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeanor driving while license suspended or revoked, and failure to yield when entering roadway.

Brian Dalton Waits, 22, Rockmart, was taken into custody on August 3 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of FVA criminal trespass.

Candido Hernandez, 48, Cedartown, was arrested on August 4 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeanor driving without a valid license, leaving the scene of an accident, and too fast for conditions.

Maria G. Martinez Rojas, 28, Cedartown, was jailed on August 4 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of open container, DUI - less safe - alcohol, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, expired license, disorderly conduct, resisting police officer, and license: 60 days to change name/address.

Walter Jefferson Simpson, 34, Cedartown, was taken into custody on August 4 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of simple assault and misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement officers.
