Mrs. Holtzclaw
Mrs. Edna Earline Swann Holtzclaw, age 56, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Rockmart on Jan. 6, 1960 a daughter of Bud and Edna Brewer Swann. She had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Cedartown.
She was a former employee of the Rockmart Nursing and Rehab Center and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her pets. Mrs. Holtzclaw was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Holtzclaw.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Holtzclaw, Cedartown to whom she was married on November 2, 1975; daughter, Stephanie Hodge, Cedartown; three sons: Michael David Holtzclaw, St. Petersburg, FL, Jonathan Holtzclaw, Carrollton and Jefferey Holtzclaw, St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Barbara Brantley, Rockmart; eleven grandchildren; one great granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Rodger Whorton and Rev. Joel Smith officiating, Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers included: Alex Hodge, T.J. Roberts, Bobby Thurman, Jerry Hudgins, Tim Stroup and Justin Davis.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Edna Earline Swann Holtzclaw.
