Mrs. Edna Earline Swann Holtzclaw, age 56, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Rockmart on Jan. 6, 1960 a daughter of Bud and Edna Brewer Swann. She had lived all of her life in Polk County and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Cedartown.

She was a former employee of the Rockmart Nursing and Rehab Center and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchild­ren and her pets. Mrs. Holtzclaw was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Holtzclaw.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Holtzclaw, Cedartown to whom she was married on November 2, 1975; daughter, Stephanie Hodge, Cedartown; three sons: Michael David Holtzclaw, St. Petersburg, FL, Jonathan Holtzclaw, Carrollton and Jefferey Holtzclaw, St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Barbara Brantley, Rockmart; eleven grandchild­ren; one great granddaugh­ter and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Rodger Whorton and Rev. Joel Smith officiatin­g, Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens.

Pallbearer­s included: Alex Hodge, T.J. Roberts, Bobby Thurman, Jerry Hudgins, Tim Stroup and Justin Davis.

The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangemen­ts for the funeral of Mrs. Edna Earline Swann Holtzclaw.
