Rockmart’s Tour of Homes for December is right around the corner, and tickets are on sale
The Rockmart Business Alliance is sponsoring the bi-annual tour showcasing 6 homes for this year's Holiday Tour of Homes. All of the homes are dressed for the holiday season and will be starting on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will be held again on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 2 to 5 p.m.
The tour begins at the Rockmart Historical Museum. Guides will share with you a bit of the history of our town and get you pumped up about our area.
Those who haven't purchased a ticket ahead of time for $20.00, they will be able to on the days of the tour in the foyer of the museum.
Tickets can be purchased at the following businesses: in Rockmart at Merle Norman, Rockmart Florist, The Perch, Hometown Realty, Southcrest Bank, Purdy Sew, What's New Consignment Boutique, Lovely Living, Sherman Ross State Farm and in Cedartown at Holmes for Her, Bradfords and Southcrest Bank. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the tour at the Rockmart History Museum on South Marble St in historic downtown Rockmart.
A free shuttle provided by Days Superstore will be available here so you can just park your car and enjoy the ride.
This year's tour includes: the renovated LaGrande home at 659 Jones Avenue, Robby and Maryann James at 525 Jones Avenue, John and Heather Pomponi at 111 North Piedmont Avenue, Jan Hulsey at 101 Coots Lake Road and Preston and Pam Herring at 243 Morgan Lane.
The finale will be “Church Street Manor” known as the Mundy/Young/Lester home on Church Street. This home has been on the tour before and this will not be the last time.
Renovations and updates continue and furniture and decorative items are constantly added.
Refreshments will be served in the dining room with Christmas music in the library after during a reception.
