Mr. Brumbelow

Mr. Ronald Everette “Pete” Brumbelow age 69 of Rockmart passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016.

Mr. Brumbelow was born Oct. 7, 1947 in Rockmart, son of the late Harrison Everette Brumbelow and the late Dorothy Chandler Brumbelow.

He was a graduate of the Rockmart High School Class of 1967. Mr. Brumbelow was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Ford Motor Company.

He had an avid love for all sports, loved making people laugh and a great love for his family.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Denny Brumbelow.

Survivors included two daughters, Shannon Brumbelow and Jeremy of Fairview, Tenn., and Brooke Brumbelow and Kim of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; sister, Kelly Fennell and her husband Richard and a brother, Terry Brumbelow and his wife Juana all of Rockmart; two grandchildren, Sophie Brumbelow of Fairview, Tenn., and Max Aldrich of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; extended Akins family, Sheila, Wade, Bill and Joann Akins; several nieces and nephews also survived.

Memorial services for Mr. Brumbelow were held on Wednesday evening, Nov. 23, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Helms officiating.
