Sole Mates complete winter class
The Cedartown Sole Mates completed its winter Introductory Line Dance class on Feb. 23. Eight of the twelve, who participated during the class, completed t he class and received certificates of completion for the 5-week class. Dancers were introduced to 50 line dance steps and patterns ranging from beginner to improver level and learned how dances are classified.
“I think this time the group had as much fun socializing and laughing as they did dancing”, said Ms. Helen Keefer, instructor. She hopes each one will join the regular classes as well as participating in other Sole Mate activities.
Due to a policy change at the Cedartown Senior Center in Bert Woods Park ( Northwest Park), classes began at a new time on Monday. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday classes will start at 2: 30. Tuesday evening classes will continue at the regular time of 4:30.
