Floyd graduates from Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt University announces that Kyle Anthony Floyd of Rockmart graduated with the Class of 2017. Floyd received a Doctor of Philosphy degree in microbiology and immunology.

He has begun a postdoctoral research posi- tion at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he is studying the bacteria that causes cholera.

Floyd is the son of Tim and Sylvia Floyd of Rockmart, and is also a graduate of Rockmart High School.
