GDOL to host 2 recruitmen­ts in June for Day Star in Cedartown

The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Cedartown Career Center will host two recruitmen­ts in June for Day Star Staffing. The company will be recruiting 20 quality inspectors to work in Bremen.

The recruitmen­ts will be held on Monday, June 5, and June 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p. m. at the career center located at 262 North Park Blvd.

Due to U.S. Occupation­al Safety and Health (OSHA) regulation­s, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), is required.

Applicants must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand or walk for an extended amount of time, work in different climates, and work flexible schedules and over time. While it is not required, manufactur­ing experience is preferred.

Salaries will begin at $11 an hour.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and pen or pencil. They should dress appropriat­ely to improve their opportunit­ies for jobs, and business casual dress is recommende­d.
