Homespun fun to come with help of HON, too

The Polk County Chamber of Commerce would like to express our sincerest heartfelt apology in inadvertently leaving off one of our longest and most generous sponsors The HON Company in The Connection. The HON Company is a Platinum Sponsor for the 40th Annual Homespun Festival coming up July 21 and 22, 2017.

We appreciate the continued support and partnership with The HON Company. HON is an invaluable asset to the Chamber and our community. Like The HON Company we appreciate all of our Homespun Sponsors and their commitment to helping make the Annual Homespun Festival great!

The Homespun Festival has been drawing crowds for the last 40 years and we have seen the crowds grow into exceeding numbers of up to 8,000 with more than 80 vendors. The Homespun Festival first began in downtown Rockmart as the merchants wanted to showcase their businesses and local art. We are excited this year to see so many of our local artists from around the County join us. The Homespun Festival, true to its name, is a juried arts festival but with so many other things the whole family can enjoy too. From kids attractions to live entertainment there is something for everyone. Enjoy walking through the Arts & Crafts booths to the Sponsors and Non-Profits booths all the while enjoying the festival atmosphere mixed with family and friends. There will be a variety of food vendors for you to choose from and don’t forget to visit the Kiwanis Car Show and Rotary Duck Race. The Premiere Redmond Regional Medical Center’s Firework Extravaganza will be at 9:30 July 22.
