Mrs. Costlow

Mrs. Louise Collins Costlow, age 72 of Aragon passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Mrs. Costlow was born June 3, 1945 in Polk County, daughter of the late Charles Collins and the late Ruby Mae Tucker Collins.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Mrs. Costlow loved flowers, working in her garden and cooking. She enjoyed making quilts and listening to gospel mu- sic, especially songs by Jimmy Swaggart.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Stevie Shane Costlow, Thomas Wade Costlow and James Edgar “Jamie” Costlow.

Survivors included her husband of 56 years, Ben W. Costlow of Aragon; four daughters, Tina Costlow of Cartersville, Elaine Loyd of Taylorsville, Annette Smith and Mary Merritt both of Cartersville; three sons, Adam Costlow of Lindale and Glenn Costlow and Ivey Costlow both of Aragon; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Costlow were held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Garrett and Rev. Donald Lindsey officiating.

Interment services followed in the family lot of the church cemetery with Rev. Daniel Arrington officiating.

The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Daniel Cross, Little Ben Costlow, Michael Loyd, John Loyd, Ivey Loyd and Kenneth Costlow.

Honorary pallbearers were: Tommy Costlow and Jeremy Costlow.
