Mrs. Barber

Mrs. Donna Rebecca Barber, age 69 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017.

She was born on Feb. 26, 1948, the daughter of the late James and Madelyn Owens.

Mrs. Barber is survived by her husband, of 50 years, Ray Barber, son; Brad and Leslie Barber, daughter; Lori and Wes Hurley. Grandchildren included Rebecca and Adam Flowers, Sabrina Dawson, Skylar Dawson, Shelton Dawson, Kelly and Hunter Marchbanks, Wes Hurley Jr. and Brooke; Great grandchildren: Hazel - Blair Andrews, and Lydia Claire Hurley ,and her father-in-law, Raymond C. Barber Sr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Vicky Angelos and her mother-in-law, Margaret Barber.

Mrs. Barber was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was active in the Adult Choir. She was employed by Polk Medical Center for 25-plus years.

The service for Mrs. Donna Barber was conducted on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating.

Interment followed at Polk Memory Gardens.

The family received friends on Tuesday evening, July 25, 2017 at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The following gentleman served as pallbearers: Adam Flowers, Ricky Sorrells, Shelton Dawson, Skylar Dawson, Wes Hurley Jr., and Chad DeSanto.
