Mr. Waites

Mr. Charles J. Waites age 80 of Cedartown, passed away Sunday Oct. 22, 2017.

Mr. Waites was born Oct. 8, 1937, i n Polk County to the late Josh and Idella Berry Waites and was also preceded in death by wife Peggy Craft Waites, brothers David Waites, Ed Waites, Sisters Sharon Bailey and Opal Johnson.

Mr. Waites was employed by Marietta Toyota until his retirement and later worked at Advance Auto Parts.

Surviving are his sons Charles and Linda Waites Jr., and Cason and Cecilia Waites, sister Grace Sparks, seven grandchildren, Bethany Waites, Corey Waites, Jordan Waites, Cole Waites, Anna Waites, Chandler Waites and Megan Waites along with numerous nephews and nieces also surviving.

Funeral Services for Charles J. Waites were conducted Wednesday Oct. 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Agan officiating.

Interment followed in the Bellview Cemetery With Rev. Anthony Baldwin.

The family received friends Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 prior to the funeral hour at the Lester Litesey Funeral home.

Pallbearers were Corey Waites, Jordan Waites, Cole Waites, Chandler Waites, T. J. Pace, Zach Flowers and Johnny Worthy.
