Editor’s Note: In a Nov. 29 story on Page A1 and online titled “Polk man indicted on over a hundred animal cruelty, dog fighting charges,” Atlanta Attorney Victor Long stated that he was misquoted in his comments to the Standard Journal, and asked that a particular statement made in the story be removed. We have agreed to remove it from the online version, and print the following statement: Mr. Long asserts that his client did not cooperate with authorities in their investigation, arrest and the Grand Jury’s indictment of Devecio Ranard Rowland.
