We have two corrections for this week’s paper. In a story on the Chamber of Commerce’s candidate forum, we incorrectly quoted Jose Iglesias in his remarks on the Athens-Clarke County merger of the police department. He said that they had attempted a merger several times, and were finally able to work together between city and county to complete the effort. Additionally, we mislabeled the drag racer in our story on the visit to the Polk County College and Career Academy. That drag racer represents the U.S. Army. We apologize for the errors.
