Cedar Hill Senior Living gets A-plus state inspection

- Staff reports

Charter Senior Living is proud to announce that Cedar Hill Senior Living — a Charter Senior Living Community achieved a deficiencyfree inspection from the Georgia Department of Community Health. Providing personal care and memory care services, Cedar Hill has a total of 60 beautifully-appointed apartments for its residents.

The Georgia Department of Community Health visits senior living communities to conduct a thorough and unannounced inspection. The survey includes a review of such things as resident quality of care, dietary services, fire safety compliance, medical record keeping procedures, employee files, social and recreational activities, and more. The survey process typically includes interviews with staff, residents, and resident family members.

Receiving a deficiency-free rating is the best possible outcome of the survey, and is an indicator of a community’s ded- ication to provide a high-quality environment for residents and staff.

“Congratulations to our staff at Cedar Hill for receiving a Deficiency-Free rating from the Georgia Department of Community Health,” said Keven J. Bennema, CEO of Charter Senior Living. “Our top-notch rating is truly the result of our hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate staff, who consider each and every one of our residents a part of their extended family.”

Cedar Hills Senior Living is located at 402 E Ellawood Avenue in Cedartown, Ga. For more information, contact (770) 748-2284 or visit cedarhillsrliving.com.
