What makes you the best nominee for your party?

-

While i am a fighter for our rights, i also believe my experience in negotiating will enable me to keep moving the ball down the field versus coming to gridlock. i also believe that, while i’ll be focused on the key conservative issues, i can multitask and work on issues impacting the everyday lives of those in the 14th district, such as drug awareness and abuse, supporting our veterans, and trying to improve the lower than national average median household income.

everywhere i go in northwest Georgia, i’m humbled and honored by the overwhelming support i receive for fighting for people of northwest Georgia.

i’ve become one of the most effective members of the republican party by demanding that our party fight for the values of our voters. Failed “leaders” like Mitch McConnell and liz Cheney are far too eager to work with democrats to pass Biden’s america last agenda.

republicans are going to take back the house in 2022, but we aren’t going to do it with pathetic empty campaign promises written by dC consultants.

The Gop must put the people first by fighting to end skyrocketing inflation, secure our border, stop critical race theory, protect the unborn, ban vaccine mandates, and champion the american worker and small businesses.

With my great relationship with president Trump, i not only look forward to a republican majority in ’22, but also winning the next presidential election in ’24.

i believe i’m the best candidate for the 14th district because i’m a true conservative: i’m pro life, pro gun, pro business, pro-america. i believe parents should have a choice in their child’s school and a voice in what is being taught. i am pro separation of church and state. i’m born and raised here in the 14th district along with my wife, family and friends; this is our home and our lives.

The republican party has plenty of businessmen and lawyers in Congress, but the perspective of doctors and the other helping professions is generally deficient in the party deliberations.

i have had a long career in emergency Medicine, and i know how to diagnose what is wrong with government and prescribe measures to improve the government, not to destroy the government. i have made bipartisanship a key point in my campaign.

i have a proven track record of cutting wasteful spending, improving efficiency, and getting results. i understand that common ground does not mean compromise. as a student of ronald reagan, i plan to lead using his principles of peace through strength and individual freedom.

i won’t treat this district as a political vacation home.

i am a public servant, one of two veterans running and the only candidate with law enforcement experience. My time in government gives me first-hand knowledge of the empty promises and double speak that is demonstrated by the self-serving. i strive for consistency in words and actions.

i have been a small business owner, so i know what it’s like to work 100 hours and get paid for less than half of them. i also earned an advanced education, but most importantly, i love my neighbor.
