Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Town Council of the Town of Exeter for all interested persons during the Regular Meeting of the Exeter Town Council to be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., in Council Chambers, Exeter Town Clerk’s O ce, 675 Ten Rod Road, Exeter, Rhode Island.

Pursuant to the provisions of Title 45, Chapter 24 of the General Laws of the State of Rhode Island, as amended, the Exeter Town Council will consider for adoption AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE for the purpose of considerin­g amendments to the articles and sections of the Town of Exeter’s Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Zoning, as referenced above to comply with newly enacted state statutes that take e ect on January 1, 2024.

Copies of the proposed amendments may be viewed on the Town’s website, or obtained in the O ce of the Town Clerk during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by emailing clerk@exeterri.gov.

e proposed amendments may be altered or amended prior to the close of the Public Hearing without further advertisin­g, as a result of further study, or because of the views expressed at the Public Hearing. Any such alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of said Public Hearing.
