The Newcomers and Neighbors Club of North Kingstown ( NNCNK ) will be hosting their next Social on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM, at the home of a member.

Ellie Lupo, a profession­al dance instructor, will be teaching those in attendance a fun, easy- to- follow dance routine that we will all perform together to the beat of some hip shaking music. A social hour will follow, and refreshmen­ts will be served as you mingle with Ellie and other club members. • Children up to age 10 are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt, to be held on Saturday, March 23 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church of East Greenwich at 124 Division Street. The Easter Bunny will be on hand as well as a photograph­er. There is no fee to attend. Bring your Easter Bonnet and a basket if you have one! Please RSVP if you can attend!

• The US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 07-08, is offering a three-night boating class that meets all the requiremen­ts for the RI DEM Boater Safety Identifica­tion Card Class dates: April 2, 4, and 9. 6:30 – 9:30 PM

• RIPS Stamp Show 2024, Saturday, March 23, 2024: Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI. 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The Rhode Island Philatelic Society hosts its annual stamp show, the state’s largest annual postage stamp show and bourse. Free admission, free parking, handicap access, free appraisals, door prizes and special show cachet, stamp dealers, kids area with free stamps.

• On March 21st, sponsor, SO RI Magazine and The Narraganse­tt Chamber of Commerce host the 13th Annual Spring Restaurant

Week with our traditiona­l Spring Kick Off Party in the beautiful and historic Towers from 5:30-8:00 pm. • The Friends of the Kingston Free Library will hold a Book Sale at the Kingston Free Library on April 18, 19, 20, 2024 upstairs in Potter Hall.

Sale hours: Thursday, April 18---12 noon to 8pm; Friday, April 19---9am to 5pm; Saturday, April 20--9am to 3pm

The Library is handicappe­d accessible.

The Kingston Free Library is rooted in a tradition of providing distinctiv­e service to the people of the community. The Library has been able to offer additional programs and services because of a very special group of people, the Friends of the Kingston Free Library.
