MCC alumni invited to online webinar

-

Middlesex Community College has helped more than 26,000 alumni on their academic and professional paths. In collaboration with MCC’S Career Development Office, the college’s free Alumni Association will host a webinar for alumni, current students and faculty Thursday, Oct. 8, starting at 11 a.m.

Part of the MCC Career Development and Alumni Career Readiness Series, the webinar will focus on the hospitality industry and feature panelists who are active in the field from local businesses and organizations.

Panelist Danielle Rico graduated from MCC in 2012. She now works as the event manager at Kimball Farm. Rico believes MCC set her up for success at Lasell College, where she received a bachelor’s in Hospitality and Event Management.

“MCC was amazing for me,” she said. “I was not someone who did well in high school nor did I enjoy school. MCC changed that for me. I loved coming to class daily and really connected with all of my professors.”

The panel will also feature Rachelle Boudreau, director of sales and marketing at The Langham in Boston and an MCC graduate from the class of 1984; Lauren Bartkus, director of human resources of Marriott Hotels; Leslie Cregg, owner of Planned Perfectly; and Marianela Santana, manager of Tru by Hilton.
