Halle Bangura

Tyngsboro High School has selected its September Students of the Month.

: Adhiti Ambati, daughter of Rupali Pakala and Ramakrishn­a Ambati, is a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. She has received the Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in Business Award, Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in Science Award, Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in Visual Arts Award and Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in English Award, and is a threeyear recipient of the Academic Excellence Award.

She also received the George Eastman Young Leaders Award, the Massachuse­tts Foreign Language Associatio­n Award for Foreign Language Activities and a Letter of Commendati­on from the National Merit Scholarshi­p Program.

Adhiti is co-president of DECA and a member of PALS, the Student Council and theater. Her community service includes volunteeri­ng at a local soup kitchen, Tyngsboro Public Library, Tyngsboro Elementary School, Innovation Academy Charter School and the Student Art Gallery in the library. She plans to study to be a musician, psychologi­st or lawyer, and to travel the world and make a difference.

Natalie Barros

Kevin Carpenter ish Honor Society. She has received the University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Science Award and Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in Spanish Award, and is a two-time recipient of the Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in Math Award and a three-year recipient of the Academic Excellence Award.

She is a member of the Student Ccouncil, Yearbook Club and Senior Sidekicks. she is a captain of the soccer team and also plays basketball. She has been recognized as a MidWachuse­tt League Second Team All-star in both sports, as well as a MidWach League Academic Achievemen­t Award recipient for basketball.

Halle volunteers at Tyngsboro Public Library, Habitat for Humanity ReStore and the a local soup kitchen. She plans to attend college and enter the medical field.

: Natalie Barros, daughter of Dan and Susan Barros, is a member of the National Honor Society and has received the Massachuse­tts Associatio­n of School Superinten­dents Award, Outstandin­g Achievemen­t in Business Award, Salve Regina Book Award, Salem State University Book Award and HOBY Leadership Award, and is a three-year recipient of the Principal’s Award. She is a member of Student Government, currently serving as president of the Class of 2021, and is the student representa­tive
