Students earn scholarship awards
Ste Jeanne d’arc School recently held a virtual scholarship awards ceremony recognizing students who had earned awards at the end of the last school year.
The presentation of merit scholarships is normally held on the last day of school in June, but this year, because of the pandemic, the event was delayed.
Jacqueline Schnackertz, director of advancement, announced the winners, and the awards were presented by Principal Sister Préscille Malo, Sister Jeanne Archambault, the Student Council adviser, and Bernard Gilbert, National Beta Club adviser.
The ceremony was held in a classroom, and classmates watched the live ceremony on Google Classroom from their homerooms. Families, friends and donors were also able to participate remotely.
