Swaim receives top Biola scholarship
La MIRADA, CALIF. » Zoe Swaim of Bedford, a freshman at Biola University, was among 338 freshmen who received one the college’s highest scholarships — the President’s or Provost’s Scholarship — for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Swaim is studying Business Administration at Biola.
Students who receive either scholarship have achieved a high level of academic excellence.
Freshmen are eligible for the President’s and Provost’s Scholarship — worth $20,000 and $19,000 per year, respectively — if upon entering the university, they meet the requirements of the scholarship.
Students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.2 while taking courses at Biola to receive the scholarship the following year. from Acton majoring in Robotics Engineering, completed a project titled “Investigating Motivations of Sustainable Development Networks at Denmark Project Center.”
Lilarose Forsyth, a junior from Acton majoring in Biomedical Engineering, completed a project titled “A Comparative Study on the Offshore Wind Education Systems in Denmark and New England at Denmark Project Center.”
Katherine Pawlak, a junior from Westford majoring in Mechanical Engineering, completed a project titled “An Analysis of Centro de Acopio de Reciclables in Ciudad del Saber, Panama at Panama City Panama (IQP).”
Alyssa Richardson, a junior from Wilmington majoring in Mechanical Engineering, completed a project titled “Strategies for Mitigating the Proliferation of Microplastics in Worcester Waterways at Reykjavik, Iceland (IQP).”
Garett Ruping, a junior from Burlington majoring in Robotics Engineering, completed a project titled “Investigating Motivations of Sustainable Development Networks at Denmark Project Center.”
Tyler Stack, a junior from Billerica majoring in Mechanical Engineering, completed a project titled “Determining the Viability of Teak Growth in Central America at Panama City Panama (IQP).”
Augustus Teran, a junior from Acton majoring in Robotics Engineering, completed a project titled “Designing an Application for Glacier National Park’s Backcountry Hiking Community at Glacier National Park.”
