Chelmsford girls remain perfect with victory

The Chelmsford High girls basketball team improved to 4-0 with a 60-44 win over Tewksbury on Friday evening.

Ellen Angwin and Meghan Goode each scored 12 points for the Lions, while Kate Krueger added 10.

Boys basketball

GREATER lowell TECH 68, NORTHEAST TECH 49 » Devonte Mutandwa and Wesley Burk each had 13 points, Vizion May added 10 and Zion Rodriguez chipped in with nine as the Gryphons improved to 4-0. lowell 72, DRACUT 50 » Jaceb Mckenzie had 24 points in the win, while Chris Ouko added 22. NORTH middlesex 61, TYNGSBORO 46 » Mike Messina had a gamehigh 15 points and Aiden Mcgrath and Jake Richard each scored 14 points to lead the Patriots.

Nick Anselmo scored 12 points to lead Tyngsboro. Panth Patel added 11 points and Bryce Goulet had 10. shawsheen TECH 46, Essex TECH 36 » Mavrick Bourdeau led the Rams (4-0) with 11 points, Jeremy Perez added 10 points and five steals, and Jake Tyler chipped in with nine points. pelham 53, MANCHESTER WEST 51 » Jake Dumont led the Pythons (4-0) with 16 points and Jake Mcglinchey dropped in 14 points. Jake Travis had a strong night in the paint with 10 rebounds and four blocks.

GREATER lowell TECH 40, NORTHEAST 36 » Aliza Som and Kaelynn Tanner each had 10 points to lead the Gryphons, while Nellie Chan had eight points and seven rebounds and Felicia Melendez contribute­d six points and six boards.

Boys hockey

TEWKSBURY 5, Chelmsford 2 » Jason Cooke scored twice and added an assist for the Redmen, while John Beatrice, Ryan Flynn and Billy Doherty added single goals.

Will O’keefe had a pair of assists and Chase Perault made 17 saves to earn the win.
