eight-play, 80-yard drive. Kicker Nick Massie toed the first of his five conversions on the day for the 7-0 lead.

Billerica had its first punt blocked and the ball was recovered by Raiders’ senior linebacker Tommy Casey at the Indians 19. Pereira scored on a 3-yard keeper and the Massie kick pushed to score to 14-0.

Again the Indians were held to three downs and a punt and Central began its third possession at the Billerica 35. Sophomore fullback Matthias Latham ran the ball down the sideline for a 31-yard touchdown and Massie made the score 21-0 with 4:30 left in the quarter.

The Indians could not move and the punt was blocked again by the Central front four and recovered by nose guard Michael Brown at the 7. He remained in as the fullback and ran the ball in for the score on the first play. This time Massie’s kick was wide for the 27-0 lead at the end of one.

The Raiders used a punishing defense and got the ball back for two more scores by the half. Markys Bridgewater added a stunning 40-yard run through the Indians’ defense and again Mazzie kicked a conversion for 34-0 margin.

Defensive back Mark Ciccarelli pulled off a deep interception and got the ball back to the offense at the Billerica 41. It took three plays to increase the lead as Nathel Achuo added a 16-yard run before the half. The conversion kick by Mazzie hit the crossbar and fell for a halftime score of 40-0.

Billerica played a strong second half as sophomore JT Green led the offense to the first Indians’ score on their new home. Wide receiver Jacob Metivier (three catches, 64 yards) hauled in a 39-yard pass in the end zone. The conversion run was stopped for the 40-6 margin.

Green completed five passes in nine attempts for 64 yards. He also rushed 10 times for 48 yards.

Central added another score when reserve quarterback Ruben Carstillo had a 24-yard scoring run, and reserve kicker Jeremy Barton kicked the point after for the final of 47-6.
