Six named students of the month
Chelmsford » Chelmsford High School recently announced its December Students of the Month.
Emerson House
: Zoe Adoniou, daughter of Steve and Linda Adoniou, is taking Advanced Placement Spanish and Literature & Composition this year. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society, English Honor Society, Science Honor Society and Tri-m Music Honor Society. She was named Best Delegate in Model UN, is active in the Theater Guild and International Relations Club, and is a class representative.
Zoe is an accomplished singer and musician, and serves as president of the Crescendos, one of CHS’S distinguished and respected a cappella groups. She is a member of the ski team and is a strong advocate for social change. She also participates in Rotary Youth Leadership events and is active at her church. She plans to pursue a degree in Political Science and Psychology.
: Michael Schwamb, son of Gene and Bonnie Schwamb, is taking
Advanced Placement classes in Environmental Science and Literature & Composition. He is a consistent honor-roll student and is a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Science Honor Society and English Honor Society. He has received the Highest Academic Achievement Award, is co-president of the Philosophy Club and is a member of the Poet’s Society.
Michael serves as a freshman mentor and a member of the ELL and Transfer Student Mentor Board. He is a junior counselor at Tsongas Industrial History Center in Lowell. He hopes to attend college to study Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology.
Whittier House
: Julianne Clark, daughter of William Clark and Celine Gribbon, is enrolled in four Advanced Placement courses: Calculus, Research, Environmental Science and Biology. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Computer Honor Society, and has earned high honors in all terms at CHS.
