Even scattered dreams are trying to tell you something

- Jackie Bryson Dream Retriever

If you are looking for answers, you should consult you first before all others.

Dear Dream Retriever: I am confused as to where to go for help so I am writing to you for recommendations. My dreams are so scattered and make no sense to me.

In one dream that I remember, I am flying above the ground and I feel as though I want to land but can’t. I am hovering above my home and watching myself as I am being watched through my window by a man though I can’t see who it is. I feel he is there to harm me in some way, but I never get to that part of the dream. I always seem to wake first.

In another dream, I am pregnant and I lose the baby. It is a boy.

In yet another dream, I actually give birth to a baby boy and then I can’t find him. That is so bizarre.

Recently, I have been dreaming of a long-lost friend of mine who I knew in high school. We were inseparable at the time, but she moved to California years ago, and we lost touch. I dreamt she was here in town and I saw her and ran over to talk to her. She did not recognize me at all, like we never met. What is that all about?

Are any of these dreams related? And is there any chance you can make sense of this? — GL

Dear GL: You are hovering above your home, which represents you as a whole. You are being watched by a man you feel may be there to harm you; this indicates that you are feeling insecure when it comes to knowledge being given to you. As a matter of fact, you feel as though what you are being told is doing more damage than good. You do not trust the information being given to you.

The loss of the baby boy is lost information or a lack of real knowledge. Again, telling you the information is not helping you.

Then, your long-lost friend does not recognize you, which is telling you that what you know to be true is not being relayed to you.

Keep your guard up and remember that just because people have always believed one thing to be true doesn’t necessarily make it true.
