You are destined to have a soulmate

- Bonnie Page Ask the Psychic

DEAR BONNIE >> Does everyone have a soulmate? I don’t think I have met my soulmate yet in this lifetime, and I feel very lonely knowing someone just for me is out there someplace, and I have not found them yet. What if I don’t meet them? Will my life be changed forever? — Angela

DEAR ANGELA >> Yes, everyone has a true soulmate. Someone you are destined to meet and be with. You and your soulmate agreed before you were born that you would be there for each other in this lifetime. It sounds very romantic and can be when it turns out the way it was planned.

Some couples have been together for nearly all their lives and met when they were still young children, some still in grade school, and they never separated. These stories of finding your soulmate are happy scenarios. However, others married and found out the hard way that this was not the perfect fit for them and discovered the person they married was not their true soulmate or twin flame, another name for a soulmate.

What is a soulmate? It’s when two people’s hearts are intertwined through many lifetimes. This person is part of whom you are destined to be with.

What can delay you from meeting your soulmate? Your spirit guide tries to help you both to make this meeting happen, but we all have free will. Free will gives you the freedom to make choices. Choices that might take you far away from each other.

What can you do to improve your chances of meeting your soulmate? Do not rush relationships. Give yourself time to meet the right person, try not to be in a hurry or to settle for someone who doesn’t feel like they are your everything. A soulmate feeling is one of putting on a glove that fits just right; there will be a feeling of being home. Put yourself in places where you might meet the love of your life. Be true to yourself; don’t go to places that are not for you but rather to places that are enjoyable. Chances are your soulmate will like many things that you also like and dislike.

Missed opportunities can happen. You might not be emotionally in the right frame of mind and you might not recognize your soulmate when you meet them. You might find yourself in another relationship or focused on other goals. You might not be on the same page as your soulmate when you meet them, which can hinder that soulmate connection.

It’s all about our life choices, but if you haven’t found your soulmate, don’t be discouraged. Your guides and the universe are always trying to connect you to the right circumstances and people who are meant to be with you in this lifetime. Love is the strongest bond two people can share, and your soulmate is looking for you as well, so be patient.

If you do not meet your soulmate in this lifetime (I sure hope you do), be assured you will again someday be together.

On a personal note — my husband and I met after each of us went through a divorce and were free to find love again. We were both out with friends one night. He looked at me and I looked at him. I heard my guide tell me, “You are going to marry him.” I listened to this very loudly in my right ear. That was 36 years ago, and the funny part is that we both remember meeting each other once before but not getting the chance to talk. He told me he remembered this girl on the dancefloor and could not get her out of his head and that girl was me.

Now you might not hear a loud voice from the universe as I did, but trust the gut feeling that is nudging you in a certain direction. Your soulmate will always be waiting.
