Forbes names local resident to best-instate wealth advisor list
CHELMSFORD — Mary Jo Metro, president, branch manager and financial advisor of METRO Financial Strategies, 17 North Road, was among the Raymond James-affiliated advisors named to the Forbes list of Top Best-in-state Women Wealth Advisors. The list, which recognizes advisors from national, regional and independent firms, was released online Feb. 2. Metro, who joined Raymond James in 2010, has more than 24 years of experience in the financial services industry.
The Forbes ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative data, rating more than 38,000 wealth advisors with a minimum of seven years of experience and weighing factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and best practices learned through telephone and in-person interviews. Approximately 1,700 women won based on the criteria.

The Nashua River Watershed Association offers paid and unpaid internships to individuals interested in learning more about the fields of natural resource protection, environmental education, and nonprofit communications and development. Interns have an opportunity to work closely with NRWA’S professional staff on a specialized project or with a broader exposure to the range of work conducted by the association.
