Forbes names local resident to best-instate wealth advisor list

CHELMSFORD — Mary Jo Metro, president, branch manager and financial advisor of METRO Financial Strategies, 17 North Road, was among the Raymond James-affiliated advisors named to the Forbes list of Top Best-in-state Women Wealth Advisors. The list, which recognizes advisors from national, regional and independen­t firms, was released online Feb. 2. Metro, who joined Raymond James in 2010, has more than 24 years of experience in the financial services industry.

The Forbes ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitativ­e and quantitati­ve data, rating more than 38,000 wealth advisors with a minimum of seven years of experience and weighing factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and best practices learned through telephone and in-person interviews. Approximat­ely 1,700 women won based on the criteria.

Compost bins and rain barrels

The 11-cubic-foot capacity compost bin is a single-unit main body constructi­on with easy assembly and durability in extreme weather. The 55-gallon capacity rain collection system comes with a standardsi­ze brass spigot and extension hose. No base is required.

The Nashua River Watershed Associatio­n offers paid and unpaid internship­s to individual­s interested in learning more about the fields of natural resource protection, environmen­tal education, and nonprofit communicat­ions and developmen­t. Interns have an opportunit­y to work closely with NRWA’S profession­al staff on a specialize­d project or with a broader exposure to the range of work conducted by the associatio­n.
