Reschedule­d showing of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

TEWKSBURY — The screening of the Pg-rated action-adventure film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’” was reschedule­d due to the winter storm from Thursday to tonight, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at Tewksbury Memorial High School’s Mcgrath Performanc­e Center, 320 Pleasant St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The free showing, part of the town’s Black History Month series, tells the story of the people of Wakanda as they fight to protect their homeland while mourning King T’challa, and stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira and Angela Bassett. Dominican flag-raising at City Hall

LOWELL — In addition to the flags customaril­y flown at JFK Plaza, the city commemorat­es flags from many countries during the year. On Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m., the public is invited to a flag-raising for the Dominican Republic. LOWELL — Community Teamwork offers free tax return preparatio­n through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program through April 8. Three options include online, drop off or in person. Discounted internet

LOWELL — The Federal Communicat­ions Commission offers eligible households a discount on internet provider bills. A family of four bringing in less that $55,500 a year qualifies for the discount, as do Medicaid recipients, residents on a veteran’s pension or students with a Pell Grant who are enrolled in college. For program informatio­n, visit fcc.gov/acp and fill out an applicatio­n. Qualified applicants contact their internet provider to activate the monthly discount. Some companies also offer lowcost internet plans designed to use with the Affordable Connectivi­ty Program discount, which makes online access almost free.

‘Annie’ takes the stage at LMA
