Small Business Saturday
LOWELL — Get a head start on the holiday shopping season during Small Business Saturday, Nov.
25, noon to 5 p.m., at Western Avenue Studios & Lofts, 122 Western Ave.
More than 350 artists, in the largest artist community on the East Coast, will showcase their work including textiles, ceramics, paintings, photography and more. Only the studio building is open to the public during this event. The lofts building will reopen for the annual Holiday Open Art Studios on Saturdays Dec. 2 and 9, from noon to 5 p.m.
Food and beverage will be available on site for purchase from Nibbana
Cafe, in the second floor lobby, Navigation Brewing Co. on the first floor and Augusta’s Chicken On The Road food truck outside the main entrance.

Pop-up market
LOWELL — Visit Gallery Z for their weekly Holiday Pop-up Market on Saturday, Nov. 25, from noon to 4 p.m., 167 Market St. Explore a variety of artistic goods during this market with its theme of “Small Business Saturday.” The final Pop-up Market at Gallery Z will take place on Saturday, Dec. 9.
The nonprofit visual and performing arts center and café in Downtown Lowell is open Wednesdaysunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Thursday-saturday, from 7 to 10 p.m. The venue is closed Monday and Tuesday.
