Tailgate sale: The Yucaipa Valley Gem and Mineral Society hosts its Summer Madness Tailgate Sale 8 a.m.-3p.m. July 31at the society’s workshop, 34861Yucai­pa Blvd., Yucaipa, behind One Stop Tire and Auto Repair. The sale will feature finished items such as sterling silver rings, pendants and bolo ties, plus cabochons, spheres, slabs, mineral specimens, crystals and more. etc. Members will also give tours of the shop.
