JUDITH ANNE PIERCE

-

November 08, 1944 - February 14, 2022

Judith Anne Pierce, 77, passed away on February 14, 2022 in Queen Creek, AZ. Born in Hawthorne, California on November 08, 1944 to Phyllis and George Farrar, Judy graduated from Norwalk High School in 1962. She met her future spouse, Larry, in San Diego, and they married in 1966. Judy and Larry started out in Redwood City, followed by a move to Buena Park before relocating to Norco, CA in 1976, where they raised two daughters, and where Judy realized her dream of owning horses. Judy ran a business, Nova Graphics, for several years, and also was a customer service representative with a printing company before retiring in 2008. Judy and Larry moved from Norco to Hemet in 2001 before a final move from California to Queen Creek, Arizona in 2018.

She had a quiet passion for tending her roses, which she planted at every home her family lived in. Though Judy professed to be shy, given a chance, she really had the gift of gab with family, friends, and even strangers, happily chatting with everyone she encountered.

Judy is survived by her daughter Catherine and son-in-law Michael Yoakum of Suisun City, CA, grandchildren Shelby Yoakum of Travis AFB, CA and Tyler (Darrian) Yoakum of USAFA, CO, sister Barbara (Jim) Moore of Queen Creek, AZ, and brother-in-law Kevin (Kathleen) Pierce of Conroe, TX. Judy was preceded in death by Larry Pierce, her husband of 53 years, and their daughter, Georgianna Lee Pierce.

Judy will be placed with Larry and Georgi on July 29, 2022, 11:00 am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA. Judy kept every card she or Larry received over the last 56 years…her gratitude of these gifts is most heartfelt. You are invited to leave one last card with her as we say good bye.

A reception will follow in our hometown of Norco.
