Goldie Fest: The Anza Valley Lions Club sponsors the first Goldie Fest, celebrating Goldie, Anza’s UFO, Aug. 26-27 at the Anza Lions Equestrian Field, Kirby Road, Anza. Gates open 4 p.m. Aug. 26. Event features stargazing, storytelling, firepit and overnight camping. Parking is $10 per vehicle, and dinner and breakfast will be available, with proceeds benefiting the Anza Valley Lions Club.
