Dave’s Hot Chicken is opening its latest Inland Empire location today.

The new location is at 9885 Sierra Ave., Fontana.

Hours are 11 a.m.- 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday.

The new location joins others in San Bernardino, Temecula, Ontario, Menifee, Palm Desert and Indio.

Now in Upland

Rally’s has opened in Upland.

The restaurant is at 1317 E. Foothill Blvd.

This of course comes as no surprise, as fellow columnist David Allen told us in 2021 that the chain would be replacing the decades-long Taco King.

And indeed, the citystipulated neon sign remains standing.

The restaurant is open 10 a.m.-2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Roll Em Up Taquitos has opened its second Corona location.

The new location, 3935 Bedford Canyon Road, Suite 101, joins the one across town at 860 N. Main St.

Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

In addition to the other Corona location, the chain also has locations in Chino

Hills, Colton and Victorville, with other locations planned throughout the Inland Empire.

Celebrate Shootzgiving

Shootz, which specializes in Hawaiian-inspired cuisine, is celebrating Shootzgiving with a giveaway on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. that day, guests can receive a free Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken sandwich.

The deal is available at all locations, including the one at the Rodeo X Public Market food hall at 3430 Ontario Ranch Road, Ontario.

LGBTQ Night

Strum Brewing Co. in downtown Ontario is hosting its latest LGBTQ Meetup Night on Saturday.

The meetup also coincides with the Ontario Art Walk.

Participants should meet at 6:30 p.m. at Strum — 315 N. Euclid Ave. — and perhaps have a pint before the art walk.

At 7:30 p.m., participants should return to Strum for more beer and live music from Jack & Brad.

Strum is open until midnight on Saturdays.

The event looks to be a monthly occurrence, as the first one took place Jan. 20.

Bruster’s Real Ice

Cream in Rancho Cucamonga is hosting a Customer Appreciation Night from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21.

During that time, customers will be able to purchase a scoop of ice cream in a cup or sugar or cake cone for $3 or in a waffle cone for $4.

No coupon is necessary.

Bruster’s is at 10570 Foothill Blvd., Suite 100.

Carolyn’s Cafe in Redlands is known for its tasty breakfast and lunch items, but is probably most famous for its delicious coffee cake, served warm and topped with a dollop of butter, which melts down the sides of the cake.

The restaurant recently turned up the craveability of its coffee cake by deep frying it.

Yes, Carolyn’s is now serving French toast sticks made with its coffee cake.

You’re welcome. Carolyn’s is at 1150 Brookside Ave., Suite A.

Sorry, we're closed

Boba tea purveyor Tea Terminals has closed in north San Bernardino.

Signage is up at the location indicating that Los Tacos Lokos, which currently has a location in Riverside, is the new tenant.

The future restaurant is at 5250 University Parkway, Unit D.
