Family campout: The city of Chino Hills will host a new event, a McCoy Family Campout, 3p.m. May 20 through 10a.m. May 21at the McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center. Event features games, activities, hiking, a movie, barbecue dinner, continental breakfast and more. Registration is $25per person and is available in person only at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250Peyton Drive, through May 5, or until the event reaches capacity. Adult Easter egg hunt: Chino Hills residents age 18and older are invited to hunt for eggs and more than $3,000worth of prizes in the third annual Chino Hills Adult Easter EggScramble March 24at Chino Hills Community Park, 3280Eucalyptus Ave. Check-in begins at 6:30p.m. and the egg hunt begins at 8 p.m. Registration is $16, available at chinohills.org/Events and at Chino Hills Community Center, 14250Peyton Drive, and the City Hall Recreation Office, 14000City Center Drive.

Upland Woman’s Club: A rummage sale will be held 8a.m.-2p.m. at the Upland Woman’s Club, 590N. Second Ave., Upland. The “Second Time Around” sale includes clothing, home decor, arts and crafts, household items, seasonal items and pet items and continues 8a.m.-noon March 4.

Tuesday Bridge group:
Recreational bridge is played 1p.m. Tuesdays and 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Joslyn Senior Center, 660N. Mountain Ave., Claremont. The group seeks more players, and beginners are welcome. LifeStream blood drive: The city of Chino Hills hosts a LifeStream blood drive noon-5 p.m. at the Government Center parking lot, 14077Peyton Drive. Donors receive a free miniphysical, including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature, with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal. Writers’ group: The San Dimas Writers Group meets 1p.m. Wednesdays at San Dimas Senior Center, 201E. Bonita Ave., San Dimas. The group is open to published writers and anyone else interested in joining a community of writers. There is no cost to join.
Women’s club: The Rancho Cucamonga Woman’s Club meets 11:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of the month at Kickback Jack’s, 10123 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga. The club welcomes women who would like to attend as visitors and perhaps join the club. The group holds fundraisers to provide scholarships to local high school seniors and also donates to the Salvation Army, Head Start, the Ronald McDonald House and Pennies for Pines.
