The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from Aug. 15-19.

Aug. 15

12:34 a.m. Law, unknown problem, Taos County Adult Detention Center – Reporters outside kept harassing officers. 9:05 a.m. Bomb threat, Enos Garcia Elementary School – A caller said they had received a call from one of the parents who said there was going to be a bomb threat at the school. 2 p.m. Civil complaint, Kit Carson Road – A caller complained that a man’s signs were impeding foot traffic on the sidewalk. 3 p.m. Sex offense adult, Tierra Montosa – A caller said that her upstairs neighbors were sexually harassing her. 3:10 p.m. Traffic hazard, Subway

– Drivers were using the middle lane illegally to avoid the constructi­on zone. 6:23 p.m. Larceny, Camino del

Medio – A caller said someone broke into her house and stole all of her jewelry as well as her checks. She believed the burglar had first tried to break in through her front door, but then made their way in through the back door.

Aug. 16

3:02 a.m. Criminal damage, Coffee Cats - Caller could hear someone breaking windows. 7:24 a.m. Welfare check, Jeantete Road - A man had gone to a residence and told the caller he had been beaten up and needed a place today. The man had a warrant for his arrest and left the residence. 10:51 a.m. Juvenile problem, Teresina Lane - Two women were “smoking crack” in a blue vehicle behind the restrooms. 1:39 p.m. Traffic hazard, Quesnel Lane - An 18-wheeler truck was parked blocking the entire street.

Aug. 17

11:14 a.m. Welfare check,133 Paseo del Pueblo Norte - A man was in the parking lot yelling and hitting the side of the building. 11:52 a.m. Harassment, Seldom

Creek Ranch - A man was trying to take items out of the gallery and put them into his red truck. 2:58 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, Taos Middle School -A man was standing outside the gates of the school with a knife in his belt. 10:13 p.m. Welfare check, McDonald’s - A man in the plaza with his pants down was showing people his behind.

Aug. 18

2:58 a.m. Unknown problem,

Ranchitos Road - A man was walking around shooting a rifle. He shot a mailbox and was screaming for “Christa.” 6:48 a.m. Trespassin­g, Indian Hills

- People have been sleeping in some of the abandoned rooms of the hotel. 10:56 p.m. Unknown problem, Giant bypass - Two women were fighting in the store when the clerks

kicked them out and locked the doors. 11:07 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Otono Road - Caller said a band was playing very loud and they were not able to sleep. 11:16 p.m. Criminal damage,

Eske’s Brew Pub - Caller said they went to pick up their daughter at the bar, and someone had slashed their tires. 11:21 p.m. Theft of a motor vehicle, Allsup’s (south) - Someone had stolen the caller’s vehicle when they went inside. The caller said they had left the vehicle running.

Aug. 19

4 p.m. Motor vehicle theft, Super

Save - Caller said their vehicle was stolen outside of the store after they went inside to get a drink. 4:08 p.m. Suspicious circumstan­ce, De Vargas - A man came to the caller’s back door saying he “had something for them.”
