LOU STURBOIS OF TAOS helps the Lions Club continue the tradition of placing over 80 flags around Taos Plaza to commemorate the July Fourth holiday. ‘We can do this if we’re safe about it,’ said club member Joanne Crass. Sturbois said, ‘And it helps people feel a little more normal. It’s one of the things we can do to make things happier in Taos.’
Families observe town of Taos fireworks Saturday (July 4) from the Taos Youth and Family Center, on Paseo del Cañón East. The fireworks were shot off from Taos Middle School.
