Visual arts calendar: What’s happening where
Taos Art Insurgency surges ahead
A national juried show that was originally slated as part of the Taos Spring Arts in May is going ahead, barring any new restrictions from the governor. The start date is July 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the collaborating galleries of Wilder Nightingale Fine Art, Dragonfly Blue and Greg Moon Art, all along Kit Carson Road. The show will be up until Aug. 2. Restrictions on masks and the number of persons allowed in each of the galleries at a time will be strictly enforced. There will be no reception and the opening will be an all-day affair to accommodate everyone being able to view the show on opening day. For updates on “Taos Art Insurgency: The New Protagonists,” go to gregmoonart.com.
